The persolog Personality Factor Model

Successful people have succeeded in harmonising their inner potential and their outer behaviour. They know their strengths and their limits and can also master critical situations or conflicts in their professional and private lives with confidence. The persolog Personality Factor Model describes human behaviour in concrete situations with the aim of better understanding one's own needs and those of others.

With the persolog Personality Factor Profile and the persolog Behavioural Profile you produce your own profile with the help of a questionnaire and then have the following options:

  • Recognise your personal strengths and limits; analyse your working style
  • Create the environment for yourself which best stimulates your success
  • Find out what contribution you can make within the organisation
  • Avoid non-productive stress in advance.

The persolog Personality Profile consists of three parts (analysis, interpretation and reflection) with seven interpretation levels.

Part I: Behaviour analysis
The basis for interpretation is formed by two questionnaires with which behavior in concrete situations is determined. The result is entered in three diagrams. Each diagram forms the basis for interpreting the data in various interpretation levels.

Part II: Interpretation potential

Interpretation level 1: understanding four dimensions
The first interpretation level gives information on prototypical behaviour of the four personality dimensions and thus about the predominant personality tendency, in other words, whether someone tends towards dominant, pro-active, consistent or conscientious behaviour.

Interpretation level 2: adapting to a changing environment
The second interpretation level describes the intentions behind the behaviour. The objective of this analysis is to learn to adapt behaviour to the demands of changing environments.

Interpretation level 3: Inner rationale system
In interpretation level 3, reference is made to the inner rationale system. The question to be answered here is: which personal convictions determine my behavior and where do they hinder successful behavior?

Interpretation level: developing success strategies
Interpretation level 4 highlights the 20 behaviour mixtures. Information is given on each behavior tendency in 13 steps which are then evaluated by the candidate.

Interpretation level 5: reducing stress levels
Interpretation level 5 is concerned with intra-individual stress. The stress level is identified via a comparative analysis and the main stressors determined.

Interpretation level 6: Choice of exercises
With interpretation 6 there is a change of topic. The first five interpretation levels work on the topic of effective behaviour management. The sixth interpretation level deals with the topic of the design and choice of exercises. The behaviour strengths give indicators for new exercise fields.

Interpretation level 7: self-controlling work teams
Interpretation level 7 completes the persolog Personality Profile with the aspect of team collaboration.

Part III: Reflection

Comprehensive participants’ documentation offers assistance with reflection on individual interpretations:

Behaviour adaptation through work on intentions with the assistance of the Intendo cards

  • Recognising and rethinking of action barriers
  • Reflection on conflict behaviour
  • Localising intra-individual stress and working out strategies for mastering it
  • Rethinking of fields of action
  • Analysis and rethinking of collaboration
